Russian tourists are still coming to Hungary
Due to the sanctions and the response actions the number of Russian tourists traveling abroad are declining drastically This could lead to serious losses for the Hungarian tourism as well – the origo wrote.
The Russian tourists have booked 30 to 50 percent less foreign trips this summer than before. The mood to travel is reducing primarily due to depreciation of the ruble, which increases the cost of holidays abroad. The Kremlin also encourages the public to spend their holidays domestically. The Russian tourists mainly like Budapest and the spa towns, such as Hévíz.
