The tabs of the SZÉP card will be deleted as part of the new tourism action plan
The rules for the Szép card are changing: “the different tabs” will be deleted, all of the funds provided for catering, accommodation or leisure activities can be used in different areas – it was revealed in Wednesday’s government briefing.
The tourism development contribution will also be suspended between October 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023, the already paid contribution will be reclaimable.

Gulyás added.
4 percent of the net sales thus remains with the tourism sector.
The government is “relaxing” the data provision obligation of the tourism sector for half a year, and also extends the deadline for the qualification of accommodation by one year. In addition, it will be possible to apply a twenty-four-month working time frame only in the tourism sector.
