G'Roby is the first to introduce the QR-code shopping in Hungary
The online market leader G'Roby food retailing chain, confirmed Pénzcentrum.hu’s previous informations over the introduction of the new solution to Hungary. According to the joint estimates with MasterCard – that will provide the background of the system – 300 to 500 purchases are expected.
Hungarian customers can meet with a spectacular and exciting technological innovation. The QR-code shopping model was started during the weekend. It is considered as an exciting mobile technology / retail development all over the world.
The operating principle QR-code shopping that billboards are placed in busy areas – such as subway stations – where the images of food products, chemicals can be seen with QR codes, that can be scanned by smartphones. The code guides the costumer to the chain's Web site, who can place the product to the virtual shopping basket. The costumer can pay in a very easy way and can requests the time of the home delivery.
