Morrisons is the first to sell carbon neutral eggs
Morrisons has become the first supermarket to launch private label, carbon neutral eggs. Morrisons “planet-friendly eggs” come from the retail chain’s giant farms, where hens are fed a soya-free diet of insects, which are in turn fed on food waste from its bakery, fruit and vegetable sites. One egg costs 30p (shoppers have to pay GBP 1.50 for a pack of six eggs).
