Food Avalanche won the first prize for the most successful partnership cooperation
The Food Avalanche program of the Hungarian Food Bank Association and the Syngenta received the first prize in the category of the most successful partnerships at the Social Investment Awards ceremony of the Hungarian Donors Forum.
On the basis of the jury's decision, the charity initiative – which already helped to more than a hundred thousand needy people – became third in the Social Investment Programme of the Year category.
The Food Avalanche Program helped to more than 13 thousand needy people last year. On the fields of the 37 participating municipalities and NGOs, a total of almost 170 tons of healthy food crops were produced, with the involvement of more than a thousand people.
