U.S. consumer confidence decreased
The U.S. consumer confidence index in July decreased to a level has not seen since February, mainly because of the concerns for the labor market.
The index decreased to 50.4 points from the 52.9 points of June. The expectation index fell to 66.6 points from the 72.7 points of June, the current situation index only reached 26.1 points, after June’s 26.8 points. The general public’s opinion on the economy will improve, when the unemployment rate will decrease – reports tozsdeforum.
