The national chief veterinary ordered the confinement housing of poultry in Békés, Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád counties – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) told MTI on Tuesday.
The regulations aim to further reduce the possibility of contact with wild birds.
Previously, the national chief veterinarian ordered the poultry breeders in the whole county to feed and water their animals in only fully covered, preferably indoor sites.
