Adidas expands in China
Adidas plans a major expansion in China. The German company will build-out a shop network consisting of 8 thousand businesses in the Asian country.
In the next 5 years, the sports goods manufacturer plans to open about 2500 new shops in China, so the network will have 8 thousand businesses in 2015. Adidas between 2000 and 2008, had 50 percent annual revenue growth in China respectively, but the crisis has stalled growth.
The Adidas plans to enter to the Chinese hinterland also, into relatively small towns with a population of 500 thousand – reports Origo.
