Consumer confidence in the euro area evaporated
On the basis of the preliminary datas, euro area's consumer confidence index decreased to-18.9 points in September 2011 instead of the forecasted -18 points.
The last time the confidence index showed a lower value was in September 2009, when it was standing on -19.1 points.
In August 2011 the index was -16.5 points- writes mfor.hu, after fxstreet.com.
