Hungarian pálinka festival held for the first time in America
Hungarian pálinka festival was held for the first time in the United States, in Linden, New Jersey.
At the event, more than five hundred people participated. The income of the festival will go on the renewal of the Club House of the Linden Roundtable Association.
Honti Balázs main organizer, told MTI that the event that was held in the spirit of collaboration was supported by the Hungarian communities of New Brunswick and Passaic as well.
The guests could taste Hungarian apricot, plum and cherry pálinkas as well as traditional Hungarian foods such as stuffed cabbage, chicken stew, fried sausages, goulash soup, chowder, cabbage and noodles, scones and pancakes.
The music was provided by the Életfa Zenekar, the Rózsafa Néptánc Együttes, the Délibáb Együttes, the Fun Factory and DJ Sizare. (MTI)
