Fish festival will be held in Siófok for the first time

A fish festival will be held in Siófok for the first time. Fish dishes will play the main role at the event, but entertainment programs will also await the audience – Kolumbán Tünde, press officer of the local government informed MTI on Monday.

Fish gastronomy will play the main role at he festival lasts from Friday to Sunday at the city's main square. Nine restaurants of the city will take part in the competition, in which new fish dishes must be prepared from ingredients, produced by the farmers of the region. The creative fish dishes will be evaluate by the culinary jury, consist of famous chefs. The festival’s program will include fish soup cooking contest, fishing exhibition with aquariums as well.
