At first European can taste Coca-Cola's RTD coffees
The Coca-Cola Co. is launching three premium coffee beverages in Europe under a partnership with Trieste, Italy's illycaffè first announced in October 2007. The sale beginns in April in 10 European countries.
Through the Milan-based joint venture
Ilko Coffee International, the companies will sell Caffè,
Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato in cans. The companies describe Caffè
as "bold, full-bodied character, real Italian 'chilled caffe.'
First ready-to-drink coffee to offer black (no milk) espresso-based
coffee." Cappuccino is pitched as "intense uplifting aromas
of illy espresso, blended with milk and dark cacao." And the
Latte Macchiato is touted as "smooth fresh illy espresso
experience, swirled with milk."
Countries in Europe, Asia, North
America, Eurasia and the Pacific will get their first taste of the
products throughout the remainder of 2008 and into 2009.
