Experimenal purchase in the Tesco of Watford
Tesco’s renewed store in Watford, West-London is based on the concept of experiental shopping.
According to Chris Bush, Tesco's UK managing director, the customers avoid the shops, due to internet shopping, so a good enough reason need to be give them to go shopping.
The recently inaugurated Tesco hypermarket in Watford awaits the costumers with a huge selling space, instead of the narrow aisle between the shelves. Some product groups are well separated, so the customers can feel themselves at a professional shop. In addition to the large number of well-qualified sellers, digital devices (touch-screen information terminals, digital shelf labels) help the customers. Many of the food products as well as fruits and cold cuts can be tasted by the customers. (penzcentrum.hu)
