Less than expected visitors at the Croatian coast
Less than expected tourists visited the Croatian beaches. From the beginning of the month, the number of guest nights increased by one percent, while the number of domestic and foreign guests decreased by three percent, compared to the same period of the previous year – wrote the Croatian daily Večernji List.
The Croatian Tourism Association (HTZ) is confident that after the World Cup finishes, more people will go on holiday and encourages the accommodation providers that they face significant weekend tourist waves. (MTI, Kriják Krisztina)
