Oktoberfest to be cancelled this year
This year’s Oktoberfest, the famous German beer festival, will be cancelled – the Bavarian prime minister announced on Tuesday – 444.hu wrote after Deutsche Welle.
Although the pandemic-stricken Germany bans mass events such as concerts, sporting events, festivals until August 31, the Bavarian government has cautiously decided not to organize the event, which traditionally begins in mid-September. (444.hu, Neuberger Eszter)
