The number of people infected with the new coronavirus continued to rise in Germany on Friday.
As of Friday night, official data show 63 infections nationwide.
Several major events have been canceled or postponed due to the spread of the virus. The Metropolitan authorities have decided not to hold the Berlin ITB, the world’s largest trade fair for tourism, which was scheduled to begin on 4 March. (MTI)
