The harvest has begun in the Tokaj wine region
Harvest came unusually early in the Tokaj wine region due to the warm, sunny summer; And this year aszú can be of the highest quality – the chairman of the wine community told MTI on Thursday.
Prácser Miklós said that because there was enough rain, there is enough moisture in the soil for grapes. Since there was plenty of sunshine and they expected that harvesting works may begin sooner than usual, especially in the southern areas of the wine region. (MTI)
