Tobacco harvest has begun in Eastern Hungary
The tobacco harvest has began in East-Hungary. The weather is favorable for arable crops, so producers are hoping for outstanding tobacco production this year.
Bényei Illés, President of the Hungarian Association of Hungarian Tobacco Makers (Madosz), told MTI on Wednesday that this year, 3386 hectares of production contracts were signed with the farmers’ companies, which is 20 hectares higher than in the previous year. (MTI)
