This year’s program series focuses on textiles, so many initiatives are aimed at reducing the ecological footprint of the clothing industry, recycling clothes, and extending their lifespan. Among other things, the participants signed up with a clothing collection program or with activities where souvenirs, toys, and Christmas surprises can be made from textiles.
Hungary joined the initiative in 2013, within the framework of which 12,400 actions were held across Europe last year. This year’s event lasts until Sunday, the list of domestic programs was published on the ÉMI website.
