Harvest has begun in the Tokaj wine region
Harvest has begun in the Tokaj-hegyalja historical wine region – the state-owned, Tokaj Trading House Ltd. informed MTI on Friday.
The company is the largest purchaser of the region and told MTI that the Tokaj Trading House plans to purchase 100 thousand tons of grapes this year. The purchase price has been announced in mid-summer. The Tokaj Trading House exports 40 percent of the wine produced to more than 30 countries. (MTI)
