The sugar beet processing campaign has started in Kaposvár
The 126th beet processing campaign started at the sugar factory of the Magyar Cukor Zrt. in Kaposvár on Friday.
Kovács Gergely, a member of the board of directors of the company said that the only sugar factory in Hungary plans to process an average of 7,200 tons of beet per day for 100 days from September 25, with 235 permanent and 40-50 temporary workers in three shifts. (MTI)
