The beet processing campaign has started in Kaposvár
The 125th sugar beet processing campaign started at the sugar factory of Magyar Cukor Zrt. in Kaposvár.
Kovács Gergely, a board member of the company, told at the event that the only sugar factory in Hungary plans to process an average of 7,300 tonnes of sugar beet per day from 19 September for 120 days. The work is carried out by 230 permanent and 41 temporary workers in three shifts. (MTI)
