Peparations began for the construction works of the new IKEA store in Soroksár

Peparations for the construction works of the new IKEA store in Soroksár have begun, after the archaeological excavation of the area ended – the company informed MTI on Monday.

According to the communication, the new store will be built in the 23rd district of Budapest, close to the hypermarkets in the shopping and business center.

The store is designed to be the flagship IKEA of the region in terms of energy efficiency. A geothermal heating system will be used for heating and cooling, which is an eco-friendly, renewable energy source. (MTI)
