The first cash register system for the new tobacco shops is ready
The ProgAdat Kft. developed a cash register system that meets the requirements of the new tobacco regulation. The ProgAdat Kft. is the member of the Laurel Group, which developed the first online cash register system.
The cash registers that will be used in the tobbacco shops will be connected to the Tax Authority (NAV) and to Nemzeti Dohánykereskedelmi Zrt. (National Tobacco Trading Company and they have to follow the excise rules as well.
The prototype passed the public test, the datas were successfully transmitted to the NAV’s server, so the machine is only waiting for the approval of the authorities.
