New regulations of the Hungarian Food Book published
As we know, the new law concerning foodchains and authorities following the foodlaw of 2008/XLVI, puts a greater emphasis on the role of the Hungarian Food Book. It is not compulsory to go by the all the rules of the food book, but should the product be named according to the categories of the food book, the product needs to be commensurate with all the ideas of the food book.
Endre Kardeván, State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Developmentheld a press vonference in Szihethalom to point out that the Hungarian Food Book now contains new quality regulations concerning bakery products. From now on, bakeries may add various labels to their produczs, depending on the quality category they fall into – kormany.hu points out.
