Experts see an increase in the price of meat as inevitable
The CEO of Vitafort Zrt., which deals with feed production, called the fact that the price of feed raw materials has soared in recent months as an unprecedented challenge. According to Kulik Zoltán, rising prices can increase the cost of storing meat, milk and eggs by up to 15-20 percent. The price of chicken meat may increase the most. The head of the company explained the increase in the price of feed by saying that the intensive expansion of supply has almost stopped, but the demand is growing worldwide. Prices cannot be expected to fall in the long run either, with a small correction at the end of the year at the latest, he added. (MTI)
