The age of electric vehicles has come
The leading energy and automation group the ABB was also present at the 59th meeting of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association (MEE), where Steven Dorresteijn, the company’s guest speaker presented the current state and future direction of the charging infrastructure of electric vehicles (EV). Well the fact is: the age of electric vehicles has come.
The growing number of electric cars creates a need for charging solutions that are supporting the electrical network with sophisticated monitoring systems and software solutions. Since May 2010, the ABB installed DC fast chargers in more than 20 countries and the company has proven in this area of technology for a long time. ABB has installed hundreds of DC fast chargers all across Europe, and the Estonian government ordered 200 chargers in Estonia.
