The National Wine Treasury Program was launched
The National Wine Treasury Program has begun, which will be a unique preservation process in the history of Hungarian winery – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture said on Tuesday in Tolcsva, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, at a press conference.
The minister said that in the wine museum’s cellar of Tolcsva they preserved wines since 1860. Over this time, around 390,000 bottles were collected from the aszus and wine specialties of the Tokaj Wine Region. He added that the government now provides nearly one and a half billion forints for the examination and for the management of winemaking of this unique wine-growing treasure, as well as to improve the storage conditions.
