The NTAK Compass has been launched: help for accommodation providers
The Hungarian Tourist Agency (MTÜ) has further developed the feedback interface created for accommodation providers in the National Tourist Information Center (NTAK) taking into account the needs of the sector. Extended statistical indicators, new functions and comparison options are available on the NTAK Compass subpage. In addition to actual data, forecasts also help to strengthen the market competitiveness of service providers and can contribute to the more successful operation of accommodations.
The anonymous big data file system, which is also unique in Europe, was created by MTÜ in 2019. Today, the tourism statistical data of all accommodation facilities in the country can be seen at the same time, in real time. The approximately 45,000 domestic accommodations have been able to query revenue and capacity data in the NTAK, but now the number and range of data has been significantly expanded, and new functions are available on the NTAK Compass sub-page. In the future, pre-booking data, guest traffic and sending market information can also be queried, and even the results of individual service providers can be compared with the performance of accommodations in other settlements.
