Mobile Wallet testing has started
In the not-so-distant future we will not need a thick wallet: Thanks to smartphones and the NFC non-contact technology, we can manage our everyday finances with our mobile phones as well as coupon redemption, transport and ticket validation. Nearly two thousand people can try out the contactless payment experience today at the pre-market launch test of the Mobile Wallet, that is based on NFC-technology.
The Mobile Wallet (MobilTárca) is an application of which we can gather our plastic wallet cards in one place and we can displays them in virtual form on our smartphones. The unique Mobile Wallet project is implemented with the coordination of the Hungarian Mobile Wallet Association (Magyar Mobiltárca Szövetség) and with the collaboration of the key players of . All three mobile operators – Magyar Telekom, Vodafone Magyarország and Telenor Magyarország are participating in the initative as well as the OTP Bank, MasterCard, and the Super Shop loyalty program.
