Amazon’s new Polish website launched
In early March online retailer Amazon’s new Polish website went live. This event marks a significant intensification of competition in Poland’s booming e-commerce sector. Amazon launched the site to better serve local customers, who used to rely on its German version. The news sharply lowered shares in Polish e-commerce firm Allegro.
