Free qvik for customers has been launched
K&H Bank also launched qvik, the QR code mobile payment based on instant transfer. It’s a win-win solution: it’s free for customers, and the merchant gets the money immediately. The compilation of K&H reveals what it is all about, how it should be used, and how many ways it can be “qviked”. However, safety must be taken care of.
The instant payment system has been operating for more than three years, thanks to which transfers reach their destination immediately – in a maximum of 5 seconds – twenty-four hours a day, including weekends. However, the system is now moving up: it offers an alternative to bank card payment with the mobile payment called qvik, which is available from September 1, K&H Bank announced.
Residential and business customers can pay quickly and easily by instant transfer at merchants and service providers connected to the service. The qvik payment is completely free of charge for residential customers, so neither costs nor transaction fees are charged, for merchants the pricing is expected to be more favorable, but this will be shaped by market competition, while the consideration for the purchase is immediately credited to their account. The new digital payment can thus be used as an alternative to bank card payment, and it is expected that we will be able to meet it in more and more sales points from autumn,” said Gergő Molnár, head of retail marketing at K&H Bank. At the same time, he called the launch of qvik gratifying, as the new payment alternative helps reduce the use of cash and contributes to the rise of digital payment transactions, which the Bank prioritizes.
