The ski season has started in the two largest domestic ski resorts

According to the information, skiers and snowboarders can currently use the entire length of slope 1, as well as the T1 training slope; access is provided by the four-seater lift and the training lift. According to the report, the average snow depth is 27 centimeters, the slopes have been cleared, snow cannoning is ongoing, and ski instruction will start on December 30.

Ski instruction also started on December 29 in the Mátraszentistván ski park. According to on-site information, the upper training slope (7) and the E lift are currently in operation, and snow replacement is required to open the additional slopes. According to the reports, in the coming days – depending on the weather – the snow cannons may operate not only at night, but also during the day, while they are continuously working on preparing the additional slopes.
