Entries for the Food of Hungary 2025 competition have started
Entries for the Food of Hungary 2025 competition have started; you can apply for the competition until December 15, and the prepared recipes must be submitted by December 29.
Karolina Molnár, the Deputy Secretary of State for Strategic Affairs at the Ministry of the Interior, highlighted at Thursday’s press conference in Budapest: the Food of Hungary competition announced for the eighth time is much more than a cooking competition, as it is as much about respecting and preserving our culture as it is about food.
New, innovative products can be seen at the competition, and the competition also proves that we are capable of producing high-quality and safe foods and that wonderful gastronomic masterpieces can be born from them – said Beáta Olga Felkai, Deputy Secretary of State for Food Industry and Trade Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture.
This year’s competition will be organized with the motto “A Tiszán from here: Little Kunság, beyond Great Kunság”, the final of the competition will be held in Szolnok on April 26 and 27, 2025.
