Entries for the Brillante distillate competition have started
Entries have started for the Brillante – 2024 international pálinka and distillate competition, which has been a side event of the Gyula Pálinka Festival for years.
This year, the competition is also looking for the best contract-brewed and privately-brewed distillate, the most successful private brewer and contract distiller, and the most successful contract distillery. The best commercial brandy and the most successful commercial brew are also awarded.
The fruit of the year this year is quince, and the best distillate made from it will be awarded separately, the organizers told MTI.
In addition to the main prizes, category winners are also announced, and gold, silver, and bronze awards are also awarded.
