The eNYUGTA subpage of the Hungarian Tax Authority (NAV) providing information about the e-cash register system has been launched
The eNYUGTA subpage has been launched on the website of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), where the office publishes all important information about the e-cash register system that will be launched on July 1. The first period is for e-cash register developers and manufacturers, who will find all technical details, development documentation, and the steps for obtaining a license on the website, in one place – the tax office announced in a statement sent to MTI on Thursday.
E-cash registers, similar to online invoicing programs, can be developed by anyone who meets the requirements and submits an application for a distribution license to the NAV.
In addition to operating in accordance with the law, the tax office strictly controls the process of issuing e-receipts and sending them to the receipt repository, and also ensures that tax regulations cannot be circumvented in any way. If the conditions are met, the NAV issues a license for distribution – it was explained.
In addition, the office – to help small entrepreneurs – provides a free e-cash register that can be easily and simply used by anyone.
In practice, all you need is a smartphone, on which the entrepreneur downloads the free e-cash register application, and a simple receipt printer, in case someone still requests a paper receipt.
It is also worth considering switching from the receipt pad for small businesses because, in addition to paperless receipts, the e-cash register brings less administration, easier use and cost reduction for both sellers and buyers.
They added: unlike online cash registers, e-cash registers do not have an annual mandatory service, which means that businesses can save an average of 25 thousand forints per year. Not to mention the 10 forints per receipt that can be saved by electronic receipts replacing paper receipts.
