The testing of the mobile wallet application has started

The testing of the mobile wallet application, that is based on contactless technology (NFC) has started in Hungary – was announced by the participating operators in Budapest on Thursday.

With the application, credit card payments can be replaced or even loyalty point collections on card. An NFC technology, ie short-range data communication enabled mobile phone is needed to this process, and a receiving terminal is needed from the retailer. The transaction is similar to the PayPass payments. (MTI)
