Apart from Budapest, currently only Székesfehérvár and Dunaföldvár have permanent 0-24-hour veterinary emergency services in the country, so feeling unwell at night or on holidays is the worst nightmare for pet owners living in most parts of the country. PetWiseCare’s medical team can provide personalized advice via chat to those who need expert help outside of office hours.

In addition to urgent cases, their doctors are also available for questions that do not necessarily require a visit to the clinic, but do require expert guidance. Most veterinary clinics operate at maximum capacity, so PetWiseCare experts can also help you assess whether it is worth rushing to the emergency room immediately with a given symptom or whether the problem requires specialist expertise. In Hungary, out of the approximately three million owner dogs, several hundred thousand do not have the appropriate vaccinations.This can pose serious health risks, as 30-50% of unvaccinated adult dogs can die from an infection that can be prevented by vaccinations, and this rate is 80% for puppies.
