Henkel’s charitable initiative, Welcome Home, has started
In the framework of the “Welcome Home” charity initiative, volunteers from Henkel and Habitat for Humanity organized two IV. they worked together on the renovation of a district apartment. The new homes are made for needy families.
The “Welcome Home” initiative was launched back in 2016 by the residential and professional sector of the Henkel Adhesive Technologies business unit in cooperation with the Habitat for Humanity organization with the aim of creating safe homes for needy families and communities. Every year, the initiative is implemented in several countries, thanks to which more and more people living in poverty and families in need have a roof over their heads.
This year, with the “Welcome Home” Budapest project, two IV. renovation of an empty municipal apartment in the district, which is in poor condition, is underway. Part of the financial background of the renovation is financed by the Fritz Henkel Foundation, in addition, the Ceresit construction brand supplies its products for quality work. Construction work is expected to be completed in the spring of 2024.
