The application period for the 7th Art is Business Award has started
In 2025, cultural and corporate actors interested in value-based collaborations can apply for the Art is Business Award for the seventh time in various categories. The award, which is unique in Europe, has been awarded since 2019 to individuals, business and artistic actors such as B.Braun Hungary, Mastercard, BMW Hungary, Egis Hungary, KPMG Hungary, Magyar Telekom, Intelligent Power Solutions, Vylyan Pincészet, Veolia Hungary, Káli Art Inn, Duda Éva Társulat, MeseTerek, Tímea Jamniczky, Zoltán Gazsi, Eszter Horgas, Dániel Dinyés, József Sófi, Andrea Rényi, András Polgár, dr. Norbert Vasas, Krisztián Gergye, Gábor Kósi and Edit Kósiné Mihálkovics.
The independent jury of the six categories consists of communication managers of domestic cultural institutions, corporate decision-makers and patrons. From 2025, the award will be expanded with the ArkForum category for construction industry players. The organizers are accepting applications until September 15.
Art is Business offers an opportunity for players from the art and business worlds to meet and cooperate as a value-creating and -preserving platform. One of the cornerstones of its activities is the Art is Business Award. The annual recognition is awarded to outstanding companies, individuals and artists of the given year.
Categories
Corporate category
Applications are invited from companies that have been collaborating with cultural and artistic players for more than two years, i.e. in the long term and on the basis of different values and interests.
Corporate project category
This category awards corporate projects that specifically target artistic collaborations. Applications can also be submitted from HR, marketing communication or even event organization. Not only support and sponsorship-oriented cooperations can be submitted, but also service-type projects, consciously structured and implemented with artistic actors.
Sustainable Art Initiative Category
Applications are invited from art projects or communities that have been able to operate economically from other sources of income during the year, in addition to state or local government subsidies – or without them. In addition to the award, the Art is Business medium offers the winner a media cooperation worth 1.5 million forints for 2026.
