Stores ran out of domestic potatoes
Stores almost ran out of Hungarian potatoes, so they have to be imported. If we buy potatoes, it is probably French or imported from Africa – penzcentrum.hu wrote.
Hungarian potatoes were sold out of the shops almost completely, so the needs were mostly covered from imports by the merchants – the member of the Board of the National Potato Alliance and Product Council told who also reported that in the last two months further lower price increases followed the 66 percent price increase of the past year.
