On 29 June by extra procedure, the parliament accepted food product line laws without any votes against. The National Trade Association (OKSZ) protested in a communication.

The law listing itemized what reckons as an unfair practice for distributors and the initiation procedure of the Economic Competition Authority will be bounded by the announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture. In the National Trade Association's opinion the food product line laws are protecting the multinational food producers rather than smallholder farmers. According to the views of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) the Ministry gave up the Food Code signed on 9 April, which blight the plan on the basis of the code that 80 percent of thegoods on the shelves of the shops should be Hungarian because the traders cannot assume the financial burden of both the Food Code and the new law in the economic crisis.
