The first version of the interface description of the National Soil Database is available
In order to prepare the laboratory software, Nébih published the informative WSDL description of the WEB-API service of the National Soil Database. The purpose of this document is to give the developers of the affected software an idea of the soon-to-be-launched Nébih service. It is important that the description is informative, its final version will be published by the office in January 2023.
In 2020, the creation of the National Soil Database was launched in order to make the results of the approximately 200,000 domestic soil tests carried out every year useful at a higher level. The main goal of creating the database is that, with the help of the data, both farmers and public administration bodies can carry out their tasks related to soil protection and nutrient supply more efficiently and comprehensively. In the first phase of the project, Nébih developed the WEB-API interface with which the laboratories using the software can directly provide data to the database. In order to start preparing the software, Nébih publishes the first, informative WSDL description of the interface. It is important that the description is informative, its final version will be published by the office in January 2023.
In the second phase of the project, the online loading interface, which enables manual data provision, will also be completed. It is expected to be activated in April 2023. Those concerned can send questions and comments related to the topic to the office at talajweb@nebih.gov.hu.
