Analysts: inflation may continue to fall, to 3.2 – 3.6 percent by the end of 2013
Analysts said that inflation certainly continues to decline until mid-year will and can decrease to 3.2 – 3.6 percent by the end of the year, so according to the projections, the Hungarian National Bank can continue to cut interest rates.
Consumer prices in January 2013 increased by 0.8 percent, compared to December 2012 and were 3.7 percent higher than a year earlier.
The decline in inflation from the 5.0 percent of December was mainly caused by base effects – Suppan Gergely, senior analyst at the Savings Bank told. (MTI)
