Analysts: better-than-expected increase in industrial production and foreign trade surplus in April
According to analysts surveyed by MTI, the industrial production expanded stronger than expected and foreign trade indicators also improved.
According to the preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Friday, industrial production in April improved by 5.3 percent, compared to year earlier and increased by 1.2 percent, copmpared to the previous month.
The growth of export measured in euros was 11.6 percent, while the growth of import was 7.8 percent in April, so 700 million euros export surplus occurred, 267 million euros more than a year ago. (MTI)
