Analysts: Retail sales grew more than expected
The volume of retail sales increased more than expected in February compared to the same period of last year, analysts told MTI commented on the latest report from the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
According to the KSH’s quick release published on Wednesday, retail sales in February were 9.8 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, in food and food-type mixed stores and 3.4 percent in non-food retail trade 14. The volume of sales net of calendar effects increased by 6 percent and in fuel retail sales by 19.0 percent. (MTI)
