Analysts: the increase of average earnings may be over 12 percent this year
The October growth in average earnings was not a surprise, according to macroeconomic analysts interviewed by MTI, who are expecting an average 12-13 percent wage growth this year.
According to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday, the gross average earnings in October reached 295,800 forints, 12.8 percent more than the year before. The average net earnings without family discounts amounted to 196,700 forints, and considering the discount into account it is estimated at 204,600 forints. . (MTI)
