Price is the most important for the Czechs when shopping food products
According to a national survey, carried out by STEM/MARK polling institute, the price is the most important for 82 percent for the Czechs when shopping food products.
According to sociologists, the obvious explanation for this that the Czechs pay out about 45 percent of their monthly salaries on apartment and on food. this proportion is even higher at pensioners. It is equal or even higher than two-thirds of the income as well. The statistics, however, indicate that food prices are among the fastest rising prices. (Kokes János, MTI)
