Food industry: the aim is higher added value
The Hungarian food industry can become more competitive in both the domestic and in the foreign markets with the increase of the ratio and supply of the higher value-added products- said Gyaraky Zoltán, Head of Department at the Ministry of Rural Development Department on Thursday in Budapest, at a professional conference.
According to him; the situation of the Hungarian food industry has changed in the last 20 years, because the number of the classic large plants decreased significantly. At the same time, medium, but especially the small and micro enterprises became dominant – reports MTI.
