In the document that can be read on the website of Nébih, the National Food Chain Safety Office draws attention to the fact that the not properly carried out preservation can lead to illness. The most serious food poisoning that can be linked to home-preserved foods is botulism, which is caused by a toxin produced by a bacterium. (MTI)
